Accept Payments with PayPal

PayPal allows payment through credit cards, bank accounts, or PayPal account balances. You can use PayPal as a payment method for your Fygaro Business at no additional cost.

PayPal is one of Fygaro´s default payment providers, and with our “PayPal Business” integration you can even let customers pay without a PayPal account.

Before you can collect payments for orders made with PayPal, you need to set up your PayPal account.

There are 2 integration options:

*Activate PayPal Business**
-Customer does not need a PayPal account.
*Activate PayPal Personal**
-Customer must have a PayPal account.

Activate PayPal Business

To activate PayPal Business as a payment method on Fygaro, follow these steps:

Log into your PayPal Developer dashboard (Click here) using your account email and password.
On the My Apps & Credentials page, toggle to Live. Click Create App in the REST API apps section and give your app the name "**Fygaro**."
Copy and save your app's API credentials (client ID and secret) as you will need them later in Fygaro.
Log into your Fygaro account at [www.fygaro.com](https://www.fygaro.com/en/auth/sign-in).
Go to Settings and select the “**eCommerce and Payments”** tab.
Select Add Gateway, choose the option PayPal Business, and enter your client ID and secret from PayPal (obtained in step 3 above).
Press Save to activate accepting payments on Fygaro with PayPal.

Now you can accept payments on your invoices, payment buttons and Fygaro Shop and receive the money directly to your PayPal account.

Activate PayPal Personal

To activate PayPal Personal as a payment method on Fygaro, follow these steps:

Note: to let customers pay without a PayPal account use the “PayPal Business” option.

Log into your Fygaro account at [www.fygaro.com](http://www.fygaro.com/)
Go to Settings and select the “eCommerce and Payments” tab.
Select Add Gateway, choose the option PayPal Personal, and enter the email associated with your PayPal account.
Press Save to activate accepting payments with PayPal.

Now you can accept payments on your invoices, payment buttons and Fygaro Shop and receive the money directly to your PayPal account.
