Securing your account with two-step authentication (2FA)

Two-step authentication (also known as two-factor authentication or multifactor authentication) provides a more secure login process. Two-step authentication provides extra security in case anyone other than you attempts to log in to your account. When you attempt to log in, you need to complete two separate steps:

Enter your account credentials, which are your email address and your password.
Authenticate your attempt with a verification code from an authenticator app.

Two-step authentication makes it much more difficult for an unauthorized person to access your account. Even if someone else learns your password, they won't be able to log in without the second step.

To activate, simply follow this steps:

Access your Fygaro Account and head over to the Settings section
Select the "two-factor authentication (2FA)" option
Click the "Enable 2FA" button

Using an Authenticator App (like Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc) scan the presented QR Code
Enter the code generated by your Authenticator app and click the green "**Confirm and Enable 2FA**" button

Your account is now secured by 2FA!
