Checklist for starting a new business with Fygaro

This list shows all the things you need to do to start using Fygaro. It will help you make, launch and advertise your online business. It may be helpful to print the list or save it as a PDF so you can look at it as you set up your business.



Before your start



Ask yourself basic questions about the goals for your online business. For example, do you want a website, sell your products through social media channels like Facebook, or both? This can help you to focus your attention and speed up your setup process. During your free trial, there is no need to worry about your plan, as you don't need to choose one until the end of your free trial (and can upgrade/downgrade at any time).

[ ] If you already have an eCommerce website, consider migrating it to Fygaro.
[ ] Choose which channels you will use.
[ ] Think about which pricing plan you will need.

Setup your Business



Before you start loading products and inventory, you need to enter some information about yourself and your business. You need to define the standards for your product listings, and options you want to make available to your customers.

[ ] Log into your Fygaro Account
[ ] Complete your Business Legal Name, Address and Contact Information
[ ] Set the default currency of your Business
[ ] Setup Shipping Integrations, if applicable
[ ] Setup Pick up and Local delivery
[ ] Setup your taxes
[ ] Setup your Custom Payment Methods
[ ] Onboard your team, if applicable

Option 1: Setup your Shop



Look at a few different themes to choose the one you like best. Then, create some Products to sell on your store. Depending on how many items you want to sell, it might take a long time to add and organize them. Make sure you have enough time to add your items, or start with your best selling items and the progressively add the rest.

[ ] Customize your theme
[ ] Add your products
[ ] Organize your products into Categories
[ ] Customize your Shops Navigation or Menu

Option 2: Sell on Social Media



There are several channels you can leverage when selling online: from Facebook and Instagram, to your existing website.

[ ] Add your products
[ ] Choose your Payment Button type
[ ] Install the Plugin, if applicable

Promote your Business



Once you have your Business ready, you need to let people know about it. You can make it easier for people to find your business by giving search engines the right information and by sharing it on different platforms.

[ ] Promote your store
[ ] Create a Marketing plan
[ ] Use Coupon Codes and Sales
