Fygaro Events: Access Policy Tutorial

Access Policies help you control which ticket categories a Ticket Validator can scan during your event. This is especially useful when managing multiple entrances, VIP zones, or staff-restricted areas.

🛠️ How to Create an Access Policy

  1. Log in to your Fygaro account and open the Event you want to manage.
  2. On the right-hand side of the screen, click on “Access Policies”.
    Event Action Options
  3. To create a new policy, click “+ Create”.
To edit an existing policy, simply click on its name.

📝 Policy Setup

Fill in the following fields:

  • Name:
Enter a name for internal use (e.g., Main Entrance Staff, VIP Access Only).
  • Ticket Categories:
Select the ticket types that can be validated with this policy. If left empty, the policy will allow validation of all ticket categories.
  • Ticket Validators:
Choose the Fygaro user(s) who will be validating tickets under this policy.
You can select one or multiple users as needed.

  1. Click “Save” to apply your policy.
You can repeat this process to create as many policies as needed to control access across different teams, entrances, or zones.

Tip: Review policies before your event to ensure each validator is correctly assigned and only has access to the relevant ticket types.
Tip: If a policy exists, only users included in the policy will be able to validate tickets for that event.
